Help your kids show love for their family and friends by making these fun Valentine’s Day bead necklaces. They can give them as a gift to their mothers, child care providers, and/or teachers for Valentine’s Day!

For this craft, you will need:

• Yarn (white, red, or pink), cut into 20” lengths
• Art Foam
• Scissors
• Hole Punch
• Pony beads

Cut small hearts from the art foam (or heavy construction paper).

Punch one or two small holes in the heart.

Thread the yarn through the holes as shown in the picture.

String beads onto the yarn in whatever pattern you like.

Tie a sturdy knot in the yarn when you finish stringing the beads.

Feel free to cut larger hearts as the anchor and write the name of the recipient or short message on the heart.
