Circle of Security for Family Child Care Virtual Training

A $300 stipend is available for FCC providers who have not previously attended this training. Participants must complete all 8 hours in order to receive the $300 stipend.

Circle of Security implements decades of attachment research in an accessible, step-by-step process to educate parents and caregivers in group settings. This training is ideal for individuals working with children in the zero to five ranges and presents examples of secure and problematic parent/child interactions, healthy options in caregiving, and animated graphics designed to clarify principles central to Circle of Security.

  • Session 1: Thursday, August 10
  • Session 2: Thursday, August 24
  • Session 3: Thursday, September 7
  • Session 4: Thursday, September 21

Time: Each session will be from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

This funding is supported through GEERS relief funding in collaboration with GOECD, ISBE, Chaddock and Erikson Institute. Caregiver Connections will be providing a monetary stipend in the amount of $300 to any Family Child Care Provider who fully participates and completes the full series of Circle of Security-Parenting Training (8 hours of live training). Family Child Care Provider is defined as an FCC owner or someone employed by an FCC owner to provide care to children 0-5. Partial payments will not be provided as full attendance is required. Payment will be mailed after completion of training is verified and may take up to 45 business days before issued. Family Child Care employment status may also be verified as a condition in receiving stipend. Additional guidance will be provided once enrolled in training.
