The following information is for the counties of Champaign, Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Ford, Iroquois, Kankakee, Macon, Moultrie, Piatt, Shelby, or Vermilion.
Sign-on Bonus: $500
Anyone who begins at an ECEC program between 7-1-22 and 12-31-22 qualifies for this bonus. Individual must be new to the field within the last 6 months, and must also work in this position for 45 days. Additionally, they must complete all trainings required by program administration.
Child Development Associate Bonus: $500
This is available to anyone who completes and receives a new Child Development Associate (CDA). Grant is available between 7-1-22 and 12-31-22 with completion by May 31,2023.
Infant/Toddler/Two Expansion Grant: up to $3,000
This typically applies to a center program but can apply to homes if they go from licensed to group home. The program must expand their ability to take infants, toddlers, and twos; for example, opening a new classroom or changing a school-age room to toddlers. Grant is available between 7-1-22 and 12-31-22.
Referral to CCAP: $25 gift basket
Parents who have been referred should make a note on their application with the name and contact information of who referred them.
